Nokia has just announced the release of its budget gold-plated S40 featurephone, dubbed the Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition. New luxury phone is basically the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type phone but comes with some improves.
Unlike the ‘vanilla’ C3-01 Touch and Type, the Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition phone is boasts a 1GHz processor, ceramic-feel keymat, of course, a matching theme and plated with 18-carat gold. New C3-01 Gold Edition packs a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with flash, and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). It has also features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, quad-band GSM, and HSDPA.

Dimensions of C3-01 Gold Edition are 111 x 47.5 x 11 mm and weighs 100grams. Its battery is allowing for up to 5.5 hours talk-time, up to 18 days on standby.
The Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition is already goes on sale in some countries for price of €220 (before taxes and subsidies). Reportedly, the C3-01 Gold Edition phone is intended exclusively for Eastern European and Middle Eastern markets.
