Acer has officially introduced new flagship Android smartphone today. The main feature of the unnamed handset is packs a 4.8-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 1024 x 480 pixels and 21:9 aspect ratio.
This Acer 4.8-inch Android smartphone is positioned as a hybrid smartphone and tablet. In addition, it can be used as a gaming console, which provides 6-axis motion sensing and pairing a gyroscope and accelerometer.
The Acer unnamed handset is boasts a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Android 2.2 OS Froyo. It has a full metal body, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, and 14.4 Mbps HSDPA support.
This 100% smartphone and 100% tablet device is equipped with two cameras (front 2MP for video calls, and rear 8MP with autofocus, LED flash, and 720p HD video recording). The Acer handset is packs GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, HDMI port, support DLNA streaming capabilities, and Dolby Mobile technology for improve sound quality.
New Acer phone is works in GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA networks. It will be released in April 2011.
