Tata DOCOMO unveils Alcatel OneTouch Net

Tuesday 13 September 2011

The ever-innovative Tata DOCOMO unveiled a new device – the Alcatel OneTouch Net, which is touted as the unofficial Yahoo  phone. There are two reasons for getting such a name: First it’s available in White & Lavender which are known as Yahoo colors (though there’s also a Black & Silver version of the device); and second, the phone comes with tons of Yahoo! apps and services pre-loaded, including Yahoo! Mail, Messenger, Search (with Voice), Social Pulse, Flickr and there’s also a one-button access to the Yahoo homepage. Best of all, Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger are lifetime-free for all subscribers!
Specs wise, we’re talking about a QWERTY keyboard-equipped candybar with a 2-megapixel camera, music player, FM radio, Bluetooth, 80 MB of built-in memory that is further expandable with microSD cards.
